"Thank You, Workers!!

 The weather for the last two race weekends has to be among the worst we have seen in years.  Low temperatures, wind, rain, snow, and hail made for some miserable conditions for the corner workers.  It may seem cold and miserable from the cockpit of a race car, but it is even worse standing out on the corners with little protection as the next squall blows through changing from wind to rain to hail. 

Thanks to everyone who has endured this nasty spate of weather and a reminder to all you racers to donate generously to the Workers Fund next time you register for a race.  Your donation helps supply some cold beer, maybe we should be doing hot chocolate, and other refreshments at the end of a long, tiring day.  It’s a very important way to say “Thank You” to the 80+ volunteers who come out and make it possible to race.
