Vern Colvin                             

I would like to add the name of my dad Vern Colvin to the list of "In Memory Of."
Vern was a member of SCCA for decades.  Not sure when he first joined but he was both Engine Builder and Racer beginning in the '60's through the early 90's. Vern had a multitude of engines racing and winning national championship races and competing all across the country.  He personally won the NW championship races in E production (I think) in his TR3 and ran in several national championship races.  He competed against Brock enterprises and Bob Sharp Racing and was nationally recognized for his innovations in engine mechanics. 

Vern died September 13^th, 2008.  He will always be a champion in our hearts and we know he is now working that last turn into the straights.

Please add his name to this list as he was proud of his membership and
contributions to the sport of racing.
