Driver Licensing School Information

Successful completion of the school satisfies the SCCA driver's school requirements to obtain an SCCA Novice Permit & enter SCCA Regional races.

Bring your own race-prepared car or rent a Pro Drive Spec Racer Ford (for more information www.prodrive.net).  You must also provide your own driver's gear, including a head and neck restraint device AND an SA2015 or later helmet.

First become a member of SCCA.  You can join online at any time by going to www.scca.com and clicking on the "Join SCCA" button at the top of each page.  You will need your SCCA membership number to apply for your Novice Permit.

Then apply for a Novice Permit.  The Novice Permit application requires an SCCA physical form, photos, and a current State or Province driver's license in addition to the application.

Email oregonregionscca@gmail.com or call National SCCA at 1-800-770-2055 if you have questions about applying for your Novice Permit.

If you have any questions about the Pro Drive school, please contact Kristen Moore with Pro Drive at 503-285-4449 or prodrive@prodrive.net.
