Tire Rack & SCCA Present:

STREET SURVIVAL

Returning March 16th, the Tire Rack Street Survival will be held at PIR once again! A perfect opportunity for young drivers to have the chance to learn safe driving habits. Sadly, 16-19 year olds are 3 times as likely to be involved in a traffic incident. Tire Rack Street Survival is designed to give young adult new drivers, hands-on experience helping them build skills which could potentially save their lives and the lives of others. The result from the training is better, safer and more responsible drivers.

The full day training consists of half the time in the classroom and half the time in the student’s own car, alternating through the day in hourly blocks. Car control exercises are completed in a controlled and safe environment simulating real world scenarios. An experienced in-car coach is always sitting next to the student during the exercises, teaching and providing learning input.

The event is 100% volunteer staffed. If you would like to help and volunteer for the Oregon events, admin staff or in-car, please contact Mick Posner.

You can also gift to the National Street Survival organization. The event will be held in the paddock parking lot area of PIR on Saturday March 16, 2024, with another event expected to be offered in November, see www.streetsurvival.org for more information. Or sign up at the button below.
